What People Say

Most Liked

Patrons adore the omelets at Miguel's, with one reviewer even forgetting to take pictures before diving in—it's that good! The breakfast potatoes, or fries, earn rave reviews, hailed as 'to die for'. Guests appreciate the friendly staff, particularly how attentive they are to everyone's needs—many patrons feel like family here. The homemade feel of the dishes resonates with many, reminding them of home-cooked meals. The community atmosphere makes this restaurant a favorite among regulars, where conversations flow as easily as the coffee. The convenience of takeaway, delivery, and dine-in options also adds to the overall appeal.

Most Disliked

Some may find it inconvenient that Miguel's is cash only, which could pose a challenge for those accustomed to card payments. A few visitors note the restaurant can get busy during peak hours, occasionally leading to longer wait times for food. While the casual vibe is charming, some diners might seek a more upscale experience, as it may not suit those looking for fine dining. Additionally, although the menu boasts a variety of delicious options, those with specific dietary restrictions may find limited choices. Lastly, on busy mornings, seating can be sparse, which may detract from the experience for larger groups.

6/5 Stars! ⭐️ Amazing food and amazing staff and owner! You could feel the love Miguel's has for his restaurant and serving people wonderful food. His joy and kindness was infectious! We got an omelette, sweet bread french roast and home fries! I forgot to take pictures before I started to eat because I was so excited to eat the food 🤣 truly the best service I've ever received! I can't recommend this place enough! I plan to make the hour drive to come back here to eat!

Our highlight of our stay in New Bedford! The breakfast potatoes (fries) are to die for!! Can't recommend it enough. Note it's cash only, which was no problem for us!

This place is awesome, the staff were all friendly and chatty while I waited for my order. Place is an old-school family owned diner and I've been missing them, was a trip back to my childhood haunts in PA. I was a bit delicate after a wedding the night before, the linguica roll was an absolute reviver. I wish I was in the area longer to eat there again, it was that good!

I took my 10 year old to Miguel's for breakfast last week. The waitress Maria was a sweetheart and the food was fantastic! My picky daughter said everything was the best she ever had. I was impressed that Miguel, the owner, was there and not just hands on with the food but also went around talking to all of the customers. It felt so homey and wonderful. I then went back today with my teenage daughter, who also loved all of the food. Again, Maria was our waitress and wonderful and Miguel came by to chat with us. You can tell that most of the customers are regulars and they are just as friendly. I'll be going back very often as it's a place where you feel not just welcomed but like family and the food is amazing. I highly recommend!

First time at Miguel's, it is very very good. Good food, fair prices and friendly people. You can't ask for anything more for breakfast. Do yourself a favor, stop in for a good meal, do your community a favor, support a locally owned business.
